iOS shortcut

Adds InkDOS Hub to the Share menu of the Files app: the file opens in the right app of the Hub. Works for files of a few MB; for bigger files use the Open file button on the home screen.

Or create the shortcut yourself (about 1 minute)

  1. Open the Shortcuts app, tap + and name it InkDOS Hub.
  2. Tap the ⓘ (details) and turn on Show in Share Sheet. At the top, “Receive” should say Files.
  3. Add the action Base64 Encode (input: Shortcut Input). Tap the arrow and set Line Breaks: None.
  4. Add the action Text. Paste the address below, then add the variables Shortcut Input → File Extension, a comma , and Base64 Encoded.
  5. Add the action Open URLs (input: Text) and tap Done.

Use

In the Files app, touch and hold a file, tap Share and choose InkDOS Hub. The file opens in Safari, in the right app.
